D.I.Y. : raw, unedited, unscripted, seat of the pants: spills, blunders, mistakes and all, keeping it real in real time in one take.
If that doesn't explain it then let's make this more clear: this is not for the "pros" cause if you already know what you are doing then you don't need to be here. If you are not a "pro" then learn from my mistakes, cause I do make them all the time in fact, many of which is my first time doing some of this too. This will guide you through it and brings up things that you might not have thought of before hand, or run into problems that comes up.

Did you measure sag and make the appropriate pre load adjustments to the rear shock?
preload only has three settings, but I have the damping dialed
do you how to remove the speed limiter
no
I've been doing lots of looking, and the aluminum "crush seal?" washer (causally mentioned in the official Honda manual) for the gear oil drain bolt is never cited by part number. Mine is screwed up, and needs to be replaced. It was leaking until I flipped it over and put the smooth side toward the bike. Lot's of things pop up for sale when I google for the part (Honda crush seal), different diameters versions. (22mm? / 24mm?). I can't find anything on the web where "crush seal" and "Honda Sh150i" appear together. ...except the Honda manual which doesn't cite a part number. It supposedly needs to be replaced every time or every other time. Yet there's zero reference as to what part to buy exactly. I'm also unable to identify it in the parts list/exploded view of the crankcase. Honda - Replace the crush seal often! Me - OK, no prob. But what part number or specific size is it? Honda - Oh, c'mon man. You should know!
you need to look at the parts fiche. It is under Transmission and you will see one bolt that has a washer while non of the others do. That washer #17 is referred to as "sealing washer (8mm)"
@@DaBinChe Thanks so much! I was looking at the wrong picture, obviously. I was about to buy the wrong part too, but you just saved me. Not a pressing issue like the (leaky) washer situation... I bought a couple quarts of Honda HP4M motor oil as mentioned in the 2010 manual, but I'm always wondering what competing brand (exact bottle) is considered the actual "best" for a 2010 SH. Same question with gear oil. Seems like some newer formulation top-brand (Mobil, Valvoline, Motul) pure synthetic products would be among the very best in both cases, but I can't find any reference/discussion to which specific product to target as "best" for a 2010 SH150i. I went with Valvoline 75w90 conventional gear oil. I'd have preferred their synthetic version, but was not positive it was OK to use. ...getting my info from sporadic discussions I find on the web, among people like me who don't all agree or even know what's correct. So leaves me guessing.
@@ViralTuber For the crush (sealing) washer just go to Harbor Freight and get a whole box of variety pack crush washer for $10. I just use those washer for the motos, outboard, car. Each size has like 10 each.
@@ViralTuber Actually I got a variety pack crush washer from Amazon for $16 I think even cheaper than HarborFreight with more washers.

Well done you are the only UA-camr who showed the rotations of the tires
Hi, can you switch the tier to tubless ones ? thank you
no, not with the spoke holes, but there are Tubless kits similar to bicycle tubeless setup.
Paint protection film is way more durable than you think. I've had it installed on the front end of several vehicles and it absolutely blocks any damage that will happen to your vehicle in normal highway driving. Every blemish you tried to fix in this video would have been prevented by PPF.
The service manual says - Brake tluid replacement sequence; (A) Front right -> (B) Rear left-> (C) Front left -> (D) Rear right. Think it's because of the abs location. Cheers
Heat your tires before trying to install. I get mine hot enough to have a little trouble holding them, poop poop chute, They slide on the first side in one shot. Side two does take a bit of effort but it sure is easier than before I knew to heat them up
I always leave tires in the sun for at least an hour. Some tires are just harder to mount than others, especially sticker and stiffer tires.
@@DaBinChe gotchya! At least you’re changing your own ! Good on ya ;) And thank you for the video
Thank you for posting this, I found it helpful to take off the right side adjuster, put everything in place and axle ALMOST into final position, and the simply slide in the adjuster. Takes 5 seconds to slide the wheel in this way. Just make sure to count the revolutions required to remove the adjuster so it’s super easy to put back. Thanks again for this video
Excellent tutorial!!! Thanks!!!
Thanks for the video. Do you know if the rear caliper on the brembo trim the same as the non-brembo trim? thanks
Uhh, ahhh,
Ty sir, I was stuck on this for a long time and this helped
I used the shorter spring first & still had the rattle noise on cold starts. Swapped to the longer spring & NO MORE NOISE!! ... some people have had success with the shorter, but I would recommend the longer to save your time
good to know
Thank you. I love all your Honda Fit videos. Looking forward to doing this spring replacement for my fit soon.
My hub cap won't go back on evenly. I don't understand what I did wrong
Did you find a solution? I'm having the same problem
This helped
Does this short shifter suffer from the rattling like the cravenspeed?
No, totally dig this shifter. I think CravenSpeed has too much reduction, CorkSports is just about perfect. Feels fantasntic.
Do you think we can install Civic oem shark fin on Honda fit GK
If the hole is the same, it should fit
Can this belt be bought outside of free spirit?
yes, I got a spare from Revzilla
Thanks for taking the time to record this. Just what I needed 🙏
Thanks for posting! i have bought tire levers and have new tires to fit to my Honda Grom 2022 and Honda Monkey 2018 at some point in time! and hope to do it myself? Your informative video helped thanks!
thank you!
Thank you!
What size are those wrenches to take the wheel off the scooter
i love the 241 it holds on wet road great. it works in mud and sand great. But they don't last about 2500 miles and they are wore out both of the 244 last a long time i got 3500 miles out of one and still half life but they dont work to well in mud. not bad in sand. and the irc 244 always felt like my tires was low in air pressure the felt spongey i can saw about the shrinko irc 244 about lasting because i hit something and blew it out. but i think it will last.
WHAT ABOUT THe 8 PLASTIC LITTLE BALLS THAT IN THE KIT FOR WHAT ARE THEY.....?
Those 8 plastic pucks are the stands "feet"
Dose it only have 4 spark plugs?
yes
Goodness! It is amazing how Honda was able to keep the "classic look" of the Cub and hide a gaggle to modern tech tucked in so tight behind the panels... makes me long for the old school simplicity of my 1960s Cub...
Everything about this bike is modern except the "looks". But it rides solid even at 60mph, the old supercubs won't even get that fast but would feel more sketch at 50mph.
@@DaBinChe true. my little Cub is solid at 60 or so, and looks so darn good! Don't miss the BMW R120R at all.
Do you have any idea if this cage will fit to xsr900 2023 ??
the 2023 is a different frame so no will not fit....I'm sure someone makes one for the new frame
Wow. I’m watching this vid because I’m planning to switch to a Miata from motorcycles. My reasonings are that during long road trips I have more of a chance to survive in a roadster and more relaxing seat time. I’m looking to improve an ND suspension starting with a longer travel/stroke. Now, I know what suspension kit to get. Thanks for the vid.
would this have been any easier removing the ront wheel? I have to replace a front fender as well. -- any idea ow to remove chrome headlight bezel? Thanks
thanks man.
How do you take off an E6 error
No idea....try unplugging battery maybe...Don't know what E6 error is. Contact Hover-1 about it. Also check the onwers manual if it says anything.
Where/how did you get a replacement screen?? I have this issue and I would like to attempt to replace it myself if I can get the part. Thanks in advance and thank you so much for this video.
ebay
Is the unit difficult to remove from the dash?
@@joseconseco2036 no, just lots off stuff to remove. Ihave vidieos on that
@@DaBinChe Do you have a link to the disassemble video? Do you have an affiliate link to the screen product? I see a lot of reports that the adhesive for the screen deteriorated in 2 weeks and the screen fell off. How is your holding up after a few week? Any problems with glare from the replacement?
@@bsteimel look in my playlist for ND miata. Screen holding up fine. Looks factory except you can see a slight outline around the edge of the screen.

Did you find any other solutions? Change pegs?
solutions for passenger peg? No, I never carry a passenger so no worries.
I just changed coolant in my daughters 2015 Forester. I used Prestone MAX Asian Antifreeze/Coolant Prediluted (blue). I read the “Product Safety Data Sheet” on their webpage & the composition/information on Ingredients is the exact same as the new Subaru Super Coolant (black jug) & a lot cheaper off RockAuto. As stated above, please use a Wix 57055XP. Subaru requires a 27 psi for the by-pass valve & Wix meets that requirement. Thanks for the video & God bless
did you use the same size Phillips to remove the cover screws. how did you remove and re-install the cover clips and what tool did you use. Is it enough for the fan to come on for one cycle & then drain the distilled water. When I filled it with the blue coolant & start the engine do I turn the heater on again & is the radiator cap on or off at this time. Thanks for the info.
One fan cycle is good for the distilled water flush. Yes always turn the heater on every stage/steep. For the new coolant fill keep the radiator cap off until the level does not drop anymore with the engine running and heater on.
thanks 4 the reply, starting with a cold engine could the water b hot enough where I can get burnt after one fan cycle.
@@antonioficca3639 Yes you can get burnt from the fan cycle. Usually when the fan turns on water/coolant is around boiling point. If you gonna run it that hot I suggest caping the radiator then let it cool for a few hours before un-capping the radiator....but if you do get it that hot then you can just top off from the reservoir, no need to take off the radiator cap.
thanks 4 the reply, if I follow your steps will that insure there is no air in my cooling system
@@antonioficca3639 yes
i love the 241's but they dont seem to last at long as the 244's do but at the price of the tires i will change them more often and stay with the 241's they work great in sand mud and it cuts the water on roads.
this guy dosent know what he talking about . plus the Miata is slow af .
Nice to see how they arrived. Just picked one up, the machining and layout is exceptional. What a sweet little setup for compactness and hunting.
nice...been out of it for several years, haven't touched my Leshiy
thanks mine is 2019 year ..should be similar
Will it work with a Miata rf
Don't think the RF has the space for it.
Will a pioneer TS-WX1010A subwoofer fit in a 2013 Miata sport behind the seat or under?
Will the pioneer TS-WX1010A fit in a 2013 Miata behind the passenger seat or under?
have no idea, take some measurments and look up the spec of the Pioneer
Just taken off the rear wheel. Took off the old drum brakes now the wheel won't fit back on. You know what I am doing wrong? I guess there is something else I need to loosen up or something.
line up the splines. The drum brakes might be expanded out too much, slack out the cable adjustment
@@DaBinChe thank you I'll give it a try tomorrow. I did like up the groves. It's like the brakes block it. It goes on without the brakes on. I'll try again tomorrow and slack the cable. I'm guessing it's the cable at the back? It's ashame you didn't do a video on it. You have gone everything but that it seemed 🤣. Thank you
@@DaBinChe just got round to trying it the cable was the issue it just snapped on me now got the pads and wheel on. So guess it had rusted to much to slacken properly.
@@user-hl8mp3qz9n I grease the treads on the adjuster nut on the cable to prevent it seizing
I wish you had better tags on this video so i might have found it before I replaced the VTC with Honda's updated one. This is much easier.
